So Heparin Sodium is the OG anticoagulant? Wow. I guess we're just lucky the 1920s didn't invent a better name than 'heparin'-like 'ClotBan' or 'ThromboNuke'. Seriously though, it's wild that we're still using a substance pulled from pig intestines to keep people from turning into human Jell-O. Modern medicine: part science, part horror show.
